A student unable to see the physician at the Health Service for injuries or illness may go to Doctors Urgent Care. If visiting Doctors Urgent Care for treatment, the student should take a student ID card and health insurance information.

- 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
- 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
- Closed on holidays
Although there is no charge for a simple office visit at Doctors Urgent Care for WLU students, not all services are free. The services listed are inclusive but not limited to:
- Office visit (exam by doctor)
- Lab tests (those that can be done at DUC)
- Limited injections
- Suture repairs
- Lab tests (drawn at DUC but sent to hospital)
Doctors Urgent Care will bill the student’s insurance company and accept a payment what the insurance company pays after the deductible has been met. If a student does not have health insurance, he/she is responsible for charged services, but payment is not required at the time of services.
