<p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p>

<p>Performs a variety of tasks related to maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment and lawn care. Duties include but are not limited to:</p>

<li>Mowing, weed eating, tending flower beds, trimming trees and bushes.</li>
<li>Trash collection and garbage cans on campus.</li>
<li>Conducts normal operating procedures on equipment requiring routine adjustments and</li>

<li>Removal of snow and ice on walkways, roads and sidewalks.</li>
<li>Assists in moving/relocating furniture.</li>
<li>Operates various equipment as needed</li>

<p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p>

<li>Knowledge and experience using lawn equipment such as lawn mowers, tractors, chain saws</li>

<li>Valid driver&#8217;s license.</li>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>West Liberty University is seeking an academic dean to provide effective leadership in the College of Liberal Arts, which includes the Department of Humanities (degree programs in English and English Education) and the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences (degree programs in Social Sciences [Geography, History, International Studies, Political Science, Pre-Law, Sociology] and in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work and Social Studies Education.  The College also includes the disciplines of foreign languages, philosophy and religion.  This is a full-time, twelve-month administrative position with limited teaching responsibility and with participation in scholarly/professional activities.</p>
<p>The successful candidate must have a terminal degree in one of the programs, professions, or disciplines represented in the College of Liberal Arts.  A minimum of five years of recent higher-education teaching and three years of administrative experience is required.  The successful candidate must possess effective and consistent interpersonal, organizational, conflict resolution, collaborative/consultative decision-making and management skills; demonstrate noteworthy achievement in curriculum development; have experience with accreditation and accredited programs; have a thorough knowledge of program assessment; and be able to effectively manage the operations of the college in an informed manner.</p>
<p>Administrative responsibilities of the Dean include leadership for all facets of assessment, operational administration, finances and budgeting, curricular development, faculty development, and academic experiences of students, including student advisement.  Other important responsibilities include leadership in student recruitment and retention, fund raising, and fostering effective community and public relations.  The Dean serves as the College’s internal and external representative and as liaison between the faculty, department chairs and the Provost and the President.  Salary is dependent upon the applicant’s credentials and experience. 				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Staff Athletic Trainer for the Department of Athletics with limited instructional responsibilities.</p>
<p>West Liberty University is seeking to fill a Faculty position with .25 FTE devoted to instruction in the Athletic Training curriculum and .75 FTE devoted to duties as needed by the Department of Athletics.  This is a twelve month position. </p>
<p>Duties will include evaluating and managing prevention, care, treatment and rehabilitation of athletics injuries to student-athletes in 16 sports; overseeing care of athletes with injury and illness with the team Physicians; providing coverage for home and away athletic events as assigned, practices and conditioning activities; managing health insurance and injury-treatment records for all student-athletes; ordering and maintaining equipment and supplies associated with the athletic training program within budget; coordinating pre-season physical exams; managing the work activities of student athletic trainers; providing clinical instruction in the training clinic, practice facilities and game/competition situations; maintaining a close working relationship with Teams, local Specialists, Physicians and Physical Therapists; an average teaching load of 3 credit hours per semester, as assigned and, other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer or the ATEP Director.</p>
<p>A master’s degree is required in Athletic Training or related field; NATABOC Certified, CPR (Instructor Level), and EMT certification preferred; one-year minimum experience in treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, strong administrative and managerial skills, knowledge of medical insurance coverage practices, and excellent oral, written communication and computer skills are required.  Highly recommended the individual has served as an ACI/CI (now Preceptor) in a CAATE accredited program.  Highly recommended the individual has had didactic teaching experience in the CAATE accredited program.</p>
<p>Highly recommended the individual has had previous employment at a College or University that has a CAATE accredited Athletic Training Education Program.</p>
<p>Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. This position includes a comprehensive benefit package.  Starting date is July 1, 2013.</p>

<p>To qualify for this tenure-track position, candidates should have a PhD degree in Economics, Financial Economics or related disciplines from an accredited institution. Applicants should provide evidence of or demonstrate potential for high quality teaching and research in the disciplines of Economics and Finance. The successful candidate will be expected to teach classes in both the undergraduate and IMBA curriculum. In addition to economics classes, there will be opportunity for those with teaching and research interests in financial economics to teach courses in the newly developing finance curriculum. <p>The Department of Arts and Communication at West Liberty University seeks to fill a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Graphic Design. The successful candidate must be computer literate on multiple operating systems and have five years of experience in a professional graphic arts setting. Prior teaching experience is preferred.</p>
<p>The successful candidate must be willing and able to teach foundation Graphic Design courses as needed, as well as, upper-division courses in areas of expertise. Areas of expertise may include, but are not limited to: Typography, Interactive Design, Web Design, Motion Graphics, Graphic Design History, and Designing for Mobile Applications. Candidate should have a commitment to excellent teaching and college service, including participation in student advising and recruitment and retention. A terminal Master&#8217;s degree or equivalent terminal degree in a field related to Graphic Communications is recommended.  The successful candidate must have excellent communication and teaching skills. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.  This position includes a comprehensive benefit package.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Department of Health Sciences is seeking two Nursing Faculty members. The nationally accredited Nursing Program currently offered at West Liberty University is a traditional four-year baccalaureate program and includes a track for registered nurses pursuing a bachelor’s degree.  This position is a 9-month, full-time, tenure-track faculty position with teaching responsibilities in the undergraduate program. Additionally, this faculty member will have major responsibility for the creation and development of a graduate nursing program, in collaboration with the current faculty and administration.  Experience in curriculum development and evaluation is essential.  The successful candidate must hold a doctoral degree in nursing, or related field; must have a minimum of five years of combined professional nursing experience and teaching in a professional nursing program; including graduate teaching in nursing, and hold a license as a registered professional nurse in the state of West Virginia, or be eligible for this license.</p>

<p>The successful candidate must have excellent communication and teaching skills; must have recent and thorough knowledge of nursing education, and must have a commitment to excellent teaching and service, including participation in student advising, recruitment and retention.
