Special Education Faculty

The Department of Professional Education in the College of Education at West Liberty University seeks to fill a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in early childhood special needs for the undergraduate program.

West Liberty University is a small, comprehensive institution under the auspices of the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission.

The successful candidate will possess a terminal degree, or a Master’s degree with a willing to complete a terminal degree, in education/special education, expertise and experience in early childhood education and special needs, knowledge of educational assessment and research related to the field, evidence of infusion of current instructional technology related to early education and special education, a minimum of 5 years teaching experience in P-12 education, and teacher certification in the State of West Virginia (or certification-eligible).  Salary is commensurate with degrees and experience.  This position includes a comprehensive benefit package.
