Dr. Childers has been a PA for 23 years and has practiced clinically as a Physician Assistant in primary care, pediatrics, urgent care, and in the Army. Dr. Childers has been in PA education for over 16 years. Past educational roles include full-time faculty instructor, post-graduate program director, and academic coordinator. Dr. Childers has traveled to Nicaragua, Bolivia, and Tanzania on medical mission trips and has also taught in the Saudi Arabian PA program. In addition to his duties as program director, he also teaches in several of the courses in the program.
