The transition to college creates both anxiety and excitement! The first time to leave home, for many of us, was/is to begin college. It is a time filled with excitement. A new journey is about to begin and the sky is the limit to what one can achieve. But it is also a time of leaving one’s comfort zone an all the familiarity of home.
Protestant Campus Ministry is a place that offers students a home away from home right on the campus of WLU. Here students find a sense of community and are given opportunities to grow in their faith and develop leadership skills.
Students are welcome to participate in a range of missionary activities: spiritual growth, worship, mission, outreach and fellowship.
We invite you to come and check out one of our many weekly programs or one or our special events. At Protestant Campus Ministry there is always a place for you!
ABOUT US…
Located in the Interfaith Chapel on the campus of WLU, PCM offers an open gathering place for fellowship and a place where students can relax or find a quiet place to study. Individuals are encouraged to drop in at any time.
PCM is a campus ministry to the university and college community, sponsored by local churches. Participation in PCM’s programs and benefits of our campus ministry are not limited to any Christian or religious affiliation. We are OPEN to everyone in the community: students, faculty, administrators, and staff! There’s a place for you!
We offer opportunities to meet, to fellowship, and to serve with students from other colleges and universities through the United Methodist Student Movement (www.umsm.org).
