1.  BUILDING HOURS

The hours for the College Union Building have been changed.  Please click on the link below to see the new hours.

2.  changes from prior operations
Two operations have changed :


 

1.  The Bear Necessities Store was closed and those services are now available through the Bookstore.


 

2.  The Computer Lab was closed a number of years ago.  Please use the lab at Computer Services in Main Hall or one of the other labs around campus.


 

 
The forms referenced below are provided as pdf files you can download and print out and complete as hard copy forms.  You may otherwise elect to request each form in MS Word or Excel as may apply and the forms can be e-mailed back to Michelle Pissos.
 
3.  VENDING SERVICES


 

Vending centers are located in all residence halls, the College Union, and other locations around campus. Machines currently operate with dollar bills or coins.


 


 
4.  VENDING MACHINE REFUNDS


 

Refunds will be handled in person at the College Union Office in accordance with the current refunds procedure.  Office personnel will be responsible for completing the refund request form.  Please be prepared to provide them with the machine identification number and other applicable information upon request in order to avoid unnecessary delay.  Persons may call the office at 304-336-8024.

7.  Requests for Space in the college union or interfaith chapel

Request for Space form has been revised.  Please use only the new form, which has a front and back.  Terms and conditions (back of form) must also be completed and submitted.  May be copied as two-sided document.  If you would like to receive this computer file so you can submit it by e-mail attachment, please send an e-mail to Michelle Pissos and request the form.  mpissos2@westliberty.edu.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Note:  A separate Wedding Application form and fee are involved when making reservations for a wedding at the Chapel.  Please contact College Union Office to make these arrangements.

8.  REQUESTS FOR USE OF SPACE IN THE COLLEGE UNION BUILDING
This applies only to vendors (businesses outside of the college) – does not apply to  WLSC student organizations or other campus entities.

 
Vendors (businesses and other outside organizations) interested in using space in the College Union Building (setting tables to display items, distribute information, and/or  sell products or services or reserving a conference/meeting room) need to submit a formal request for same.


 
Click on the link provide for a copy of the “Short Term Lease Agreement”.  Please contact Michelle Pissos and provide him with the basic information about your space needs.  If the intended use is consistent with Union policy and practice, Michelle will prepare the lease form for your signature.  Payment must be submitted at time of signing.


 
There is a fee of $20.00 for the lease of space to set up a table.  If a conference/meeting room is needed, then the vendor must pay a fee of approximately $75.00 depending upon which space is to be leased.  These fees are for a normal eight (8) hour time frame.  A nominal additional fee may be assessed for additional time.  Military organizations and not-for-profit organizations generally shall be exempt from paying a fee.

10. Requests For Quad Events
When planning an event on the Quad, several advance approvals are necessary.
The newly updated form is to be used, available at Auxiliary Services Office, or it can be download from the link provided.  This form is the latest updated version as of 4/12/06.  All prior versions are no longer valid.
Please remember to answer all questions and provide as much information as possible so approving persons will have less doubts or reasons to delay their approval.  If food is to be sold, please include a list of items.
